Midnight Outlaw Illegal Street Drag
Car 1, Car 2, ready, race. Exciting? I think not. Welcome to Midnight Outlaw Illegal Street Drag Racing, one of the worst racing games that I have every played.
Can this game be interesting?
Racing another car down a strip of concrete is definitely not my idea of fun. I do not understand how somebody can possible enjoy this game.
The main menu features these options: play game, quick race, and multiplayer. When you click on ‘play game' you are prompted to create a profile. Once you load your profile, you are taken to ‘the dash.' In the dash screen, you can test drive the car that you chose in your profile. When you test drive, all you do is drive a race without an opponent, but if you get a good score, it will be put into your records. You can also buy upgrades from the dash screen. You highlight an upgrade to see what it does, and can than purchase it if you have enough money. You earn money by racing against your rivals. There are 4 different classes, D, C, B, and A. There are rivals for each class that you must race in order to get respect and money. If you beat a highly respected rival, you will jack up your respect and get some money. Once you get a lot of respect, you will be able to advance to the next class.
Nos = Automatic Win
Whenever you race against the computer in a quick race and you have Nos, the computer never uses it, so you always win. This is really stupid because there is no way for the computer to catch up.
The Strip of Concrete
In all, the point of the single player game is to race a car that you can buy menial upgrades for against other opponents in different classes.
The one thing that sucks is that when you race, it is just at one strip of concrete with little differences between maps.
Quick Race
Quick race is when you drive a random car with random upgrades (but it always comes with boost) against another car. Basically the same idea of the single player mission…
EXCITEMENT (Not)
When racing your rivals, the po-po's crew can show up at any random given time and fine you $40. This supposedly adds a little excitement to the gameplay…
Multiplayer is............. exciting
Multiplayer is also a drag. When you host a game, you and another person can race at the warehouse, city, docks, industrial, or beach maps. You than race down a dumb little strip again; exciting.
Overall
IF Illegal Street Drag has prove anything to us, it is that cheap games usually suck. Don't buy this one.
