Hitman: Contracts

Sometimes Maps can be Too Big

Some maps are incredibly large, like The Bjarkhov Bomb mission. There is a submarine as well as multiple ships you can access, along with control towers, long train paths to walk through, mess halls, and much more. Sometimes this amount of space can become overwhelming. The Bjarkhov Bomb mission in particular was not one of my favorites because I always had to travel across the large map, and sometimes I would get bored just walking, so I would have to take a break. On the other hand, people may like the fact that some maps are immense. This will give them more time to enjoy their favorite killer.

Graphics, graphics, graphics

Graphics are amazing. That's just a fact.

Hitman: Contracts

Even though the game is based on killing people, you can't ignore how beautiful your world is, and how detailed all the characters are. When you walk into the Meat King's Party, you will just stop to notice the different people surrounding you, and how each does something different. At the Beldingford Manor, you will stop to look at all the details of the manor, especially the decorations on the wall.

AI is good, but there are glitches

Fact is you may not be able to gawk for long. Enemy AI is sharp; you will have to watch out for any approaching guards, assuming you are trying to be silent instead of a Terminator. There were occasions, however, where I would find the AI being incredibly stupid.

For instance, I was standing in front of a door and a guy behind me blew my cover. After quickly shooting him in the head, the guards in the other room ran towards the door. They barged in, completely passing me standing right next to the door. As each went by, I was able to shoot them from the back. This has happened on more than one occasion. There are other small glitches you may encounter with the AI, but none as frequent as this one. Nothing a patch can't fix.

Multiplayer!?!!?

And yes, still NO MULTIPLAYER. Come on Eidos, let's just think about this one a little bit more...

Overall

The third installment of 47 is a great one. If a new patch comes out that fixes the AI issue and a multiplayer mode was made available… this game would be unstoppable. Just keep hoping. Miracles can happen.
